The
air quality of Bangladesh’s capital on Thursday was the worst among the cities
across the globe.
According
to Air Quality Index (AQI), Dhaka’s score was 187 at 8:55am, which is
considered unhealthy.
Lahore
of Pakistan is the second worst with 177 AQI score, followed by Egypt’s Cairo
(163) and Bahrain’s Manama (146).
An AQI between 151 and 200 is considered unhealthy,
201-300 is very unhealthy while 301-400 is considered hazardous, posing severe
health risks to residents.
