Bangladesh Army’s ex-general and officers will visit
residence of army officer Lt Tanjim Sarwar Nirjon, who was stabbed to death by
robbers, during a joint operation in Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar in the wee
hours of Tuesday (September 24).
On
behalf of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman,
the retired army officers will covey sympathy to Tanjim’s family members at his
residence at Korer Betka village in Tangail sadar upazila this morning.
Tanjim’s
father is Sarwar Jahan (Delwar).
Lt
Tanjim was stabbed to death by robbers during a joint operation in Purbo
Maizpara area under Dulahazara union of Chakaria upazila in Cox’s Bazar
district.
He
was a former student of Pabna Cadet College. He received his commission in the
Army Service Corps (ASC) from Bangladesh Military Academy in 2022, after the
completion of the 82nd Long Course.
