The order of the High Court to appoint a receiver to manage properties of the Beximco Group would be maintained as the Appellate Division passed 'no order' in this regard and sent the matter to the apex court full bench for further hearing on October 28.

Appellate Division Judge-in-Chamber Justice Md Rezaul Haque passed the order after holding hearing on a civil petition filed on behalf of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Barrister Mostafizur Rahman Khan took part in today's hearing for Beximco, while Advocate Muniruzzaman argued for Bangladesh Bank. Barrister Masood R Sobhan and Barrister Fatema Chowdhury moved the plea before the court, whereas deputy attorney general Redwan Ahmed Ranjib stood for the state.

A High Court division bench comprising Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Muhammad Mahbub Ul Islam passed the order on September 19 after holding hearing on September 5 in this regard.
