In the Dharmapasha
Upazila of Sunamganj, six members of the same family died in a fire in a house
of the Ashrayan project. The incident occurred early on Tuesday (October 1) in
the village of Shimerkal under Joyasree Union.
Ali Farid, the Assistant
Superintendent of Police for the Dharmapasha circle, has confirmed the death of
the six people.
However, the cause of
the fire and the identities of the deceased are still unknown.
Mohammad Gias Uddin, the
Upazila Executive Officer, said, "We are heading to the site. The fire is
currently under control, but the cause of the incident is still unknown."
