"Whoever spreads anarchy, the law
enforcement agencies with the help of mass people and victorious students will
deal them with an iron hand," the Chief Adviser said.
The conspirators, he said, have created an
atmosphere of anarchy and fear across the country to destroy this victory, what
he termed at the moment of the celebration of country's second independence in
the mass-student uprising.
"Anarchy is our enemy . . . it must be
defeated quickly. At this moment, it's foremost and first priority of the
government to suppress these conspirators with an iron hand," the chief of
the interim government told the nation boldly.
He sought all-out cooperation of the countrymen so
that all people can breathe the free air of freedom and it is the government's
pledge.
Besides, the all security agencies, including
Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Guard, Police, Ansar, Village Defense, Coast
Guard are now free from all sorts of extra-legal coercive command of the
Supreme Power so every of its members are fully entitled to enjoy the joys the
second independence from today.
"If it's the slightest disruption to anyone,
our celebration today will fade ultimately," he apprehended.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr Yunus said, the
brutal fallen dictatorial government kept the power axed by using these
institutions but "We will thwart his efforts and bring back the lost glory
of those institutions."
He further warned that those who earlier used in
this despicable attempt to commit the crime should be brought to justice at the
earliest . . . The same applies to all ministries, organizations, educational
institutions and various workplaces countrywide and all criminals will be
prosecuted, he added.
The chief advisor said, 'Today, I am doing it on
behalf of the countrymen by remembering the martyred students of the
anti-discrimination student movement who made it possible for all of us to
taste freedom for the second time. This Independence would never have been
possible without the adventurous sacrifice, courage and people have united
movement."
He said at the same time, the nation's gratitude
and congratulations to the fearless members of the army, navy and air force who
stood by the people of the country and hastened this victory by realizing the
desire for freedom.
The chief adviser urged every organization and its
members to enjoy the second freedom by fulfilling their respective duties.
"Take the country to the peak of glory . . .
and give the countrymen and the world a chance to enjoy. I, on behalf of the
nation, fearlessly, joyfully, each one at his own workplace and request you to
come forward with the ability," the chief adviser requested.
The chief adviser mentioned that the cruel
dictator has gone and with the tomorrow's sun rising all would enjoy the
democracy, justice, human rights, freedom of expression without fear, at the
ease of all, irrespective of political affiliations.
Dr Yunus sought help of all to achieve the goal,
hoping that "Nothing is impossible for our student body if we stay united,
stay away from destructive activities."
